• Signing up allows you to:
    • View your account balance.
    • Manage your account.
    • Deactivate your card.

  • Deactivate your card immediately if it is not in your possession! Additionally, if you know you will not recover it, visit the MSU ID Card Office to obtain a replacement card. For more information see: https://idoffice.msu.edu/lost/index.html
    • When you deactivate your card using this eAccounts site, the following services are suspended for your card: Meal plan, guest meals, Combo-X-Change, Spartan Cash, laundry for iLiveOn residents, Recreational Sports pass use, entry to residence halls through the night receptionist stations.
    • Note: no other services are affected or connected to this system. (Parking lot and residence hall access through proximity readers, MSU library privileges, class attendance and other card functions are still active.)
  • Re-activate your card if you previously deactivated your card using this site and have since found or recovered your card. See the section titled “Why would I deactivate my card?” for more information about the services that are restored.
    • Note: if you live on campus and checked out a temporary meal pass, you MUST return that pass before your card will function.
  • If your card is lost or stolen, you should deactivate it immediately. See the previous section titled “Why would I deactivate my card?” for information about the services that are suspended when you do so. To deactivate a card:
    • Go to Card Services > Deactivate card.
    • Your PID number should appear in the drop down field. Your PID is listed with leading zeros and a two-digit number in place of any letters (“01” in place of “A” for students) or (“26” in place of “Z” for faculty staff.)
    • Click the Deactivate Card button.
    • A confirmation email and further instructions will be sent to your MSU email account.
  • If you find or recover your card, you can re-activate it. To re-activate a card:
    • Go to Card Services > Activate card.
    • Your PID number should appear in the drop down field. Your PID is listed with leading zeros and a two-digit number in place of any letters (“01” in place of “A” for students) or (“26” in place of “Z” for faculty staff.)
    • Click the Activate Card button.
    • A confirmation email and further instructions will be sent to your MSU email account.
    • Note: if you live on campus and checked out a temporary meal pass, you MUST return that pass before your card will function.
  • Go to Accounts> Account Summary
    • Your Spartan cash account balance is listed along the left side of the page in a white box which is also a link.
    • Click the Spartan Cash account listing to see further details and recent transactions.
  • Go to Accounts> Account Summary
    • Your dining plan balance is listed along the left side of the page in a white box which is also a link.
    • Though balances are labeled in U.S. Dollars(USD), they actually represent meals. So, if your balance reads 100.00 USD, it means you have 100 meals left.
    • Click the account listing to see further details and recent transactions.
  • This option applies only to cardholders with an unlimited meal plan (Platinum, Gold or Silver)
    • Go to Accounts > Board Transactions.
    • In the board plan field, use the drop down arrow to select BP Combo On.
    • For Board Meal Type, select Combo.
    • If you would like to search for specific time periods or locations, enter Transaction Period or Location filters.
    • Once you have completed filtering, click the search button.
    • Note: If you have an Off-Campus or Faculty/Staff plan, your Combo-X-Change transaction will be included with those for your dining plan account.
